Boo Yee Swan is a Director of Amica Law LLC and has been in practice since 1992. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1991 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1992. She holds a LL.M degree from King's College, London, specialising in Intellectual Property Law. She is a Registered Patent Attorney in Singapore, as well as a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.

 

Yee Swan started her legal career in the public sector with the Singapore Legal Service, as a Legal Officer in the Insolvency and Public Trustee’s Office.  She practised litigation in copyright and trade mark matters when she entered private practice. Yee Swan’s present focus is IP protection and management.

Yee Swan is presently the Vice-Chairman of the IP Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore. She also sits on the Executive Committee of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) - Singapore Group, and is a Council member of the Institute of Singapore Trade Mark Agents (ISTMA). She also previously sat on the Examination Committee of the Patent Agents Qualifying Examinations conducted by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.
